In the City of Palos Heights, the maximum allowable height of a fence is 6' feet tall. Either you, or the fence company you choose to work with, must set up a post hole inspection, and the City must sign off on the depths of each hole. You need to make sure that your new fence does not impede any drainage on your property. Once your fence installation is complete, you will need to set up a final inspection so that the City of Palos Heights can sign off on your finished project.
