Chicago Ridge Fence Installation

Are you looking to have a new fence installed? As a resident of the Village of Chicago Ridge, if you plan to have a new fence installed or an existing one replaced, you will need to obtain a building permit. Permit applications are available for pick up at the Village Hall Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and on Saturday's from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. You can also print off a copy of the fence permit application on their website as well. You can expect to pay a minimum of $25 for a residential building permit. You may occur additional fees once the Village reviews how much work you are having completed and the total estimated value of your next fence project. Please know you will need to scheduled inspections throughout the fence installation process. The Village recommends that you contact them 24-48 hours before actually needing the inspection completed. If you call to request an inspection after 3 pm, they will not start the process until the following business day. Lastly, when searching for local fence companies online, you need to make sure that the fence contractor you end up hiring is licensed, bonded, and insured. The fence company must register with the Village of Chicago Ridge to be allowed to complete fence installations inside the city limits.
